Sunshine Yellow and H&M Homewares

I got married in 2009 and had the reception at Agriturismo Villa Maria in Minori on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. This is a small agriturismo set up in the hills, with an amazing view over the famous Amalfi lemons down to the town and the sea (the pictures below are by a couple of my wedding guests). The yellow lemons became the inspiration for my wedding colour palette and design. I find that even now, over four years later, I am still drawn to sunshine yellow clothes, accessories and homewares whenever I see them.

While we have mentioned before that we love the colour blue for a holiday house and will no doubt incorporate lots of blue into our future bach - I think a few bright pops of yellow will also find their way into the mix.

H&M launched their range of homewares in the UK back in 2010. I have bought several pieces from them - some currently in use and others stashed away in the attic for the future bach. They currently have a great selection of cheerful yellow products - ranging from towels to tablecloths to storage baskets. Some of my favourite items are featured below.

The image above shows a selection of their cushions.

I have the wire basket above in black and use it in the kitchen for storing onions. As I have written about before though, I am a sucker for seeing something in a new colour and lusting after it all over again.

The 100% cotton striped rug above can be put in the washing machine, so would be ideal for use at a bach.

The 100% cotton cushion cover above is currently half price. At only £1.99 each, it would be great to stock up on these.
