Bach Interior Design - Justine Hugh-Jones

On one of my browsing sessions I came across this beautiful outdoor lounge area in Sydney styled by Justine Hugh-Jones.

I went on to her website and discovered Justine is based in Sydney and has lived and studied design in Europe for over 10 years. She aims to combine the Australians' love of light, open plan interiors with the distinctive feel of European living. I've picked out some of my favourite looks for this post.

In this living room below a sisal rug with cushions providing pops of blue work perfectly in a beach house. Thick planks of recycled wood are used for the shelving.

This is the outdoor lounge area. You can't go wrong with blue and stripes and big plump cushions!

In this bedroom we see the sisal flooring again which provides a rustic feel and the recycled wood appears this time in a bench at the foot of the bed.

Beautiful bold colours in this bedroom and I love the detailing around the headboard.

Here are a couple of bunk rooms which we will need in our future beach house.

A good use of a small space:

This bathroom feels cool and calming thanks to the blue Moroccan tiles.

Gorgeous mirrors ...

And lastly one of my favourite rooms is this dining area. I love the green mixed with the white. This room pulls of a sophisticated tropical feel.
