Baileys and Coffee Ice

It has been a week of overindulgence and we still have a few days to go until Christmas... I am going to have to seriously hit the gym every day in January before heading off to bikini weather in New Zealand in February!

MP and her family are staying here so I'm not going to write too much. We are having a rare couple of hours of peace now that the girls are in bed and our husbands are at a poker night with their friends down the road.

Another friend came over tonight for a couple of hours and we had some bubbles, glazed ham sandwiches, Christmas mince pies and champagne truffles. She helped us make up small gifts for all of the children coming along to the Christmas lunch we are having at The Stag pub in Hampstead tomorrow. We then finished off the night with a rather retro glass of Baileys with a coffee ice cube.

I made up a pot of coffee in the cafetiere and used my baby puree food cube trays to make extra large coffee ice cubes. I then simply poured over Baileys and swirled the ice around a bit. Delicious!
