Summer in London has come to an end and the warm days already seem like a distant memory. The good news for me is that I booked flights back to New Zealand last night for six weeks in February next year.
Between me and that next glimpse of sun is two very long flights with a toddler.
Here she is on the trip back to New Zealand last year when she was 10 months old.
As a lover of lists, I have already started making notes on what to pack for the trip and what to take on the plane.
Unfortunately my list is a world away from Miranda Kerr's packing advice (via Net-A-Porter).
Instead of loungewear and eye masks I am considering how many packets of stickers and boxes of raisins we might get through. I am hopeless at packing lightly, but I really want to try hard to do that this time. I'll keep you updated as I get closer to the departure date on what makes it into my bags.
