Friday Lunch Pizza

One of the items on my list of things to make is pizza dough. I know they're meant to be easy but when I start reading about yeast and special flour I kind of get put off, especially as it's harder to find the right ingredients in Switzerland. I cheated today and used a ready made base and topped it with tomato paste, ham, mushrooms, artichokes and mozarella. I promise I will make a base soon!
While researching recipes I tried to look for ones that were as simple as possible. The one I liked the most is the following recipe taken from Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop. Here are the ingredients: Water, yeast, flour, olive oil, salt, sugar.
Whisk water and yeast, stand, add more water, flour, olive oil and salt (and presumably sugar although it doesn't say this). Mix until smooth. Knead. Stand for a few hours. Sounds pretty simple right?

The other thing I would like to try one day is a pizza stone. Using a pizza stone is meant to produce an extra crispy base. This one below is by Jamie Oliver.
